Today is my last working day
I bid you farewell, CSA
Six years of memories I bring with me
Missed and cherished they will be

For being good guides and mentors

Esti, Edwin and little Boker
Java is our bread and butter
T'was a pleasure learning from each other

For my efforts were not left in vain

Thanks for the trust and recognition

The unbreakable, tough IPAC team
We thought production was just a dream

google alert

i was suprised when i checked my email tonight,, a notification from google alert. somehow i must have set-up this facility to search for my name in the web. well,, now i know it works. google found me in the 6th Philippine Computing Science Congress. so my research is in the list of the invited papers. I assume that my proffesor will be the one presenting.. but according to the site,, i'll be joining him.. but i think its just a billing thing. heck.. im still in boracay on that day.. well ok on my way to manila but still, i can't make it. haven't received an email from him about this though.. :P

amihan week 6

the last week of the amihan league. i thought we would finish 7th but somehow, bc got us. dennis was upset... ok was very upset.. hehe.. but we all know we can beat bc that day. ako yata nagpatalo. i had 2 drops and a $*#(!*% endzone throw.. argghh! well, as they say, its a great farewell gift to wayne. he'll be going home to australia for good. i'll miss that guy,, and his parties too. :P

the toda gang left the ateneo field early to catch bok and sym's wedding. sayang i can't go. i didn't go to the legendary closing league party either. 72 stubs for 12 toda?!?! wow. hehe... i've heard its the best party ever. i guess i'll just make it up in bora.. :D

amihan week 5

the scariest game ever. i thought playing agaist the k3 kids will be a breeze. it was our tightest game, i was scared we would be playing a universal point... goodness... luckly we got our grove back... we got them with only 2 points lead. after that game we played against aso. as expected, we didn't win but was a good game for toda. i think we scored 3 or more... not bad. :P

the team had a potluck picnic. fun fun fun. dami food! we were planning to cook a pasta dish,, making the sauce from scratch...well nice thought... end up with marshmallows, juice and bananas. o well probably next league we can find some time to do that.

our department had a recognition night last march 2nd. it was the first department general assembly with that much preparation. food was great... hehe i was expecting our usual ensaymada or goldilocks cake slice and "big 250" juice. well it was a nice break from my usual OT night. had fun taking pics too... and post processing them in picasa :D (my first picasa edits :))
