last working day of the year, office people threw a wine and chips party. hurrahh! started drinking at 4pm hehe, stopped just before 8 to "hotbox" at velasquez. result? my most painful ankle sprain in 12 years. i think i cried for about 5 minutes, and then stayed there in the bushes for another 5. hehe. hopefully ill be back on my usual bibo self by tuesday pickup.

if you're an electronics junkie, you'll definitely would like to visit "electronics boutique". i sound like an informercial. well anyways, i went to parksquare1 to find a gift for my bro. i would like to give him a wireless phone. due to budget constraints i tried to search the whole mall to find the best buy. then i stumbled on this store (it's in front of kenny rogers).

here's what i bought:

so i thought i will not be having noche buena. and so i thought. :) its just three hours late. :) the feast includes ham, chicken, lumpiang shanghai, maraconi salad(my contribution), fruit salad.. and oh we had coke also, in 1.5 liter bottle. :P

'twas the night before chirstmas

we usually spend our christmas eve with my mom's family, we either go to my grandfolk's place or they come here. i guess this year is different. there will be no noche buena tonight (no, im not being melodramatic), i'll probably still be online at midnight.

just finished dinner. mom made macaroni salad and lumpiang shangai. :P anyways it was a typical stay-at-home saturday for me. woke up early to get more things done sana. wala rin, i slept the whole afternoon. kainis. i got tired fixing my telephone line. last night my phone just suddendly went dead. no dial tone. i assumed it has something to do with the wire outside, coz its a little windy last night. so this morning i decided to climb up the roof and check my phone line. everything looks ok naman. then at second thought, baka yung box. yun nga. the wires got cut off. i have to re-skin the wires and re-attach them to the main box. hay yun lang pala. stupid me. the roof climbing was the easy part, its setting-up (and folding-down) the ladder that kinda tired me out.

curious thing. im a hearing a band playing "the one i love". rockers party sa kapitbahay. hehe. now their playing "melt with you". :P hehe. ok a, i have entertainment for the night.

my boss gave me a book for christmas. at first i thought that the whole team got the same thing, coz i saw joyce's and it looks like a book. later, i found out that the boys got cd keepers, and li-an got a fancy toothbrush thingy. i got so curious i openned the gift. The book's title, Why Some Positive Thinkers Get Powerful Results. hmmmnn. so i need to think more positive?. am i a negative thinker? hehe. anyways, i asked joyce to open her gift. i kinda hoped we got the same title, but no, it was "breakfast for the soul". hehe funny. kinda fits her personality. i don't know if he really sees me as a pessimist, or its a form of an encouragement so we can finish our project on time. :)

listening to the bohemian rapsody in px100 is an experience. i could almost taste every note. it was like eating at saisaki-dads-kamayan crossover buffet. (burp) hehe. the sound of crisp guitar strums of blind melon/'s no rain inspired me to pickup the guitar again. its been a while since the last time i played it.

i had to do major re-tuning. took me almost half an hour. but when i finally fixed it, i tried to search for a song chord online. darn dial-up. super bagal. i got bored and saw my camera. took some shots, upload. browser still processing. opened the pic in photoshop to resize the image before i upload. Menu - Image - Image Size. hmmmn medyo madilim... Menu - Image - Adjustments - Auto Contrast... uyy dami image adjustment options. i got so hooked into this post processing thingy, i forgot that i was searching for song chord. hehe.

if i have to translate my weekend into a ym chat message, i will probably use almost all the emoticons.

the chrisMark hat tourney was great, got to know a little better some old faces (now i can put names on those faces). our team won, nandoon ba naman si panoy, rossel and faicah e. i felt really happy when i saw wayne showing off the spirits photoscrapbookpage i made for him :) glad he liked it. i felt bad for mark though, mukhang serious nga yun operation nya next year, hopefully everything goes well, super athletic pa naman nya.

the night before, i already decided that i will not go to the pua christmas party, but somehow, pumunta rin ako. it was mistake.. or maybe not, i dont know. crashed at dave's pad. decided to catch up on work the following morning (a sunday). also decided to confront one of my dissappointments.

and finally some really good news. sir festin emailed me and confirmed that my name was included in the list of "officially graduated students" :) i'm now officially a degree holder of master of science in compter science. woohoo! geek.

a rather dissapointing day

i just learned (or confirmed) this morning that my brother will not be spending christmas with us. this might be the last christmas that our dad will be here. and one more thing, they'll be bringing my 2 month old nephew with them. naawa naman ako kay daniel. byahe agad. and what if it happens during their trip? d ko yata alam gagawin ko. and i dont want to think about it, much of course to prepare for it. i've been pretty good keeping myself busy these days. i know that that time will come, and maybe that time ko nalang sya proproblemahin.

i was assigned to dress up as cho chang in our company's christmas party costume contest. too bad i missed the goblet of fire movie. i dont know this cho girl, basta they insisted na kamukha ko daw and pa-cute lang naman ang gagawin e. fine! hehe. anyways, we did not win, but at least i got to pose for a pic with harry. :P another friendster-able pic.

px100, xbox, beardpapa and the sandwich toaster

started the day contemplating if i can afford a sennheiser px100, and then pigged out and tried beard papa creampuffs (yum!), hoped throughout the day of winning an xbox, and then went home with a sandwich toaster. :)

i decided to join the xavier hat tourney yesterday instead of the rlimpics rally. i might regret it kasi i think its the last rally (daw) because its very hard to organize. anyways, tinamad narin ako kasi dami nagbackout sa toda. and since my ofc barkada is somewhat magulo these days, i think it would be better for me to stay away for a while.

the tourney was kinda disappointing, well compared to the last hat i joined, (plastic virgins) early this year, the event was not well attended. anyways, its was not that bad though. i got my much needed "ultimate" supplement, and i had fun. i also bought a disc from a fellow disc player, who up to know hindi ko parin matandaan yung name. hes that guy from bombproof na dating nagrecruit sakin. hehe. i got this yellow discraft disc for 700 bucks. i'll just hang my spirits disc in my room, and use the new one for pickup. hay sana naman mahanap pa yung bora disc ko!! :(


the tourney was a 2 day event, but i want to go to church today so lagot na lang ako kay dennis :P. i know he'll forgive me, as soon as he sees the photosrapbookpage i made for him :)

My mom gave me a photo of my dad yesterday. She wanted me to have it enlarged and reprinted for my dad's wake. I dont know how to react. So i just said ok. She was very casual about it. I think my mom already accepted that my dad is dying. Im glad that she's ok now.

Im back

I decided to start blogging again. I deleted all my previous blogs right after an unauthorized person "discovered" this blogsite . I know webblogs are public, but i don't advertise, so i thought i can keep it secret. Oh well. Anyway, out of frustration, i deleted all my blogs that moment. I kinda regret deleting it though, masyado lang talga ako nainis at that time. Anyways, its good to be back, i just wish i have the time to this more often.
