marty crazy

im crazy over marty casey. i have been checking on him once in a while after the rockstar:inxs series. marty introduced me to the killers. i've never known the killers unitl he sang mr. brightside. :D actually i like marty's acoustic version better than the original. but when i checked out the killers music, i got hooked too.

my other favorite marty performances are: arms wide open , where he became known as the mad conductor, the classic dark rock rendition of britney's baby on more time, and the very heartfelt interpretation of pink floyd's wish you were here.

Marty Casey & Lovehammers [CD]

i've read that marty and his old band, the lovehammers, will the be opening act for the inxs world tour. haha, the band was used to be called the "lovehammers", not "marty casey and the lovehammers"... the benefits of being a tv star. anyways, they just releasd their self-titled album this january 26. i want one! :D. booker already gave me a copy of the whole album, i love almost all the songs.

these tracks will most likely to top my last fm charts this week: clouds, the riddle, hold on and casualty. as for the album's carrier single "trees",, i like the live and accoustic version better.
