Razor Ridge Low™ II

since my nike acg, left me limping on the foot of muddy atimla-lamot, i have to get a new pair of trekking shoes. about two weeks ago, a writer amci member asked me if im interested to buy his nike acg. i had some doubts in buying nike again. but anyway, he never contacted me again. i guess he sold it already.

was thinking of buying the "hi-tech" brand, coz its the most budget-friendly but decent shoe that i can get. but heard that columbia shoes have a 30% discount. well even without that promo, i can still avail of a discount,, being an amci trainee.

mid-cut or low? mid-cut is heavier but gives additional support in the ankles. tapilukin pa naman ako. mid-cut is lighter and gives me more freedom. good for me since i have problems bending my knees. anyway, the did not have my size in mid-cut anyway. so low-cut it is!

rastafarian rendezvous

a very successful party indeed. :D and i have a little to do with it. haven't got the time, money and resources to help out. im only starting to know my batch mates now. :) very nice and interesting bunch.

so i tried to be there early to help out. fortunately, csa assembly ended earlier than scheduled. it was raining then. its hard to find a cab. so i decided to take the jeep at landmark. thanks to esti, i found the ayala loop terminal. i think it took me 30 min attempting to find a cab, another 30 waiting for a jeep, and another 30 min travel time from landmark to the venue. its been a while since i went out that early. i hate rush hour.

i arrived at around 8:30, the place was huge. was surprised that only few trainees were there. but almost everything was prepared already. nothing left for me to do really, just for some marshmallow necklaces for the party games.

the party heated up around 10:30, when the members outnumbered the trainees. games was fun too. j and i even won the marshmallow eating contest. :D. i also got a cosmo mag in the raffle. sadly we have to leave early, we planned to join PULA hat league the next day. i heard many of them suffered from altitude sickness. i know i will too if i stayed a little longer. :D

What Kind of Food Are You?

You Are Japanese Food

Strange yet delicious.
Contrary to popular belief, you're not always eaten raw.

do you ever have days that you know you can do better at work, and then you feel responsible for all the things you do in the office. and so you wake up and get in early to get more things done, and with quality of course.... well this is definitely NOT one of those days. i have tons of things to do.... pero hindi ko ginagawa. buti na lang na-move yung meeting.. if hindi yun na-resked lagot ako bukas. hay.. bad girl.

so here i am nag bo-blog na lang. i've updated my wish list btw, please check them out... >:). yung sa mga wala pang regalo sakin.. chip-in na lang kayo dun sa first item in the list please.

killing time

so im here again.. waiting for j.. too tired and lazy to work on a friday night. so what i've been upto lately? --- b.m.c. i didnt think this would take so much time and effort,, and money. challenge yourself! ,, their banner, true to every word. we are "forced" to be on time, complete their physicals -- or else,, demerits. you'll be kicked out of the training if you exceeded the max limit. but its fun.. met lotsa new friends. we even have our own blog na.. hehe

im not really complaining, its good actually coz i needed the push. i never thought i'd complete 6km in 44 min. next sunday its 7km. their qualifying btw is 15km in 2hrs. kainis lang nga, i think im gaining weight :( lakas ko kasi kumain since my training. :( need to get back on ripped fuel asap.

next weekend will be our first traning climb. yey! :) it will be at mt atimla-lamot at nagcarlan laguna. found their iterinary last 2002 here -- scary.

i still don't have a bag. still contemplating if i'll go big time. i really like the north face women's terra. but i don't see them in stores anymore, they're promoting a new line now called flight series. the last time i saw a terra, it's priced at 4,800. the flight series bags are at around 8,000++ :( hay, conquer na lang kaya? 2,000+ lang.

i'll still have to visit mr. oca's mounterneering store. i've heard he's selling much cheaper stuff than malls. expedition plus is at unit 242, mile long bldg, amorsolo st. at makati.

underwater hockey anyone?

i tried underwater hockey today. its been around for more than two decades (daw) but it hadn’t gained much popularity coz its not a spectator sport. its more difficult than it looks talaga, or i don’t know if its just me. its been a while since my last swim, april if i will count boracay. :) 2 years ago pa yata yung last ko. so my swimming skills are a bit rusty. that's probably why i didn’t enjoy it much. got a lot of bumps and hits kasi yung mga kalaro ko di rin marunong. (its a non-contact sport.. like ultimate... yeah right) and i although i do snorkel, i find it difficult to go over and under with the snorkel on. sanayan daw.

i had fun naman. and maybe with a little more practice it'll be much enjoyable. i could have enrolled in their training course, but im doing bmc now. hmmnn,, maybe next year...

so if anyone's interested, they're having their beginners night at la salle greenhills swimming pool every thrusday. just bring 150 bucks and your swimwear. they can lend you mask, snorkel, fins and stick for starters.
